Vibrational Astrology Leadership Program
Starting January 2023 and ending March 2025
Instructor: David Cochrane
MISSION STATEMENT: To educate and train leaders in Vibrational Astrology (VA). The goal is for graduates of this program to be experts and authorities in Vibrational Astrology. Each graduate develops expertise in consulting and teaching.
ACCEPTANCE TO THE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM:
All applicants must apply by emailing the application form to david@AstrologyDC.com. The number of students is limited and applicants must submit a statement on why they believe they have the aptitude, time, motivation and resources to succeed in the program.
Applicants must be very familiar with astrological glyphs for the planets and zodiac signs, know which signs are fire, earth and water signs, and be able to look at a western style astrology chart and identify what houses the planets are in and what the rising sign is. These are very basic skills and that is all that is needed as an astrological prerequisite. Most students are intermediate to advanced students of astrology or are practicing professional astrologers but this is not required.
Applicants must be motivated to learn VA as an independent and integrated astrological system. You can, of course, use ideas from other astrological systems outside of the classroom experience, but in class discussions and homework you must use only VA. The maximum number of students in a program is 10. If more than 10 qualified students apply, then not all qualified students will be accepted; in this case only the top applicants will be accepted.
CLASS SCHEDULE, FEES AND OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS:
There is 1 class per week, and each class is 2 hours in length. There is a 5-minute break about half way through the class. A time for the class will be chosen that is convenient for most students and hopefully all students, and also the instructor. There are classes 9 months of the year, which is every month except March, July and December. Classes begin in January 2023 and end by March 1, 2025. There are 9 months of classes in 2023, 9 months of classes in 2024 and classes in January and February 2025 for a total of 20 months of classes. There is a graduation ceremony in March, 2025 at the 2025 VA Conference in Gainesville, Florida.
Course Duration: Each course is 8 weeks of classes (16 to 20 hours of classroom time).
Fee per Course: $600.00, payable as $300 per month on months when classes are taught. The total cost for the entire program is $600 (10 course at $600 per course). Because there are 9 courses in 2023, 9 courses in 204 and 2 courses in 2025, the total tuition cost is $2700 in 2023, $2700 in 2024 and $600 in 2025. Your credit card or PayPal account will be charged $300 for each month that there are classes. Additional fees: You must own the current version of the Sirius software and there are likely to be 2 or 3 books that are required. All other teaching materials are online at no additional cost. There is also the cost of traveling to two VA Conferences, food and accommodations while attending the conference, and the conference fee.
Attendance at 2 VA Conferences is required. To graduate you must attend the VA Conference in March 2024 and March 2025. You are not required to attend the VA Confernce in March 2023. These conferences are the first weekend of March in 2023 each year and they are live in person conferences in Gainesville, Florida. There will be an additional pre-conference or post-conference meeting day for current students in Leadership Programs only. There is no additional cost for this additional day.
Also:
-
Students must email the instructor if arriving even 1 minute late for class or leaving even 1 minute before the full duration of the class (which is 2 hours long). Student must submit a video describing what they missed for any class time that is missed.
-
Missing more than 10% of live classroom time can result in failing the course. For any classroom time missed, the student provides video homework explaining the details of what was covered in class during the time that the student was not in attendance after watching the recording of the class. The instructor may, or may not, choose to give an option for additional missed live classroom time that exceeds 10%.
HOMEWORK:
In many of the courses, the student is required to watch and study 5 to 8 half hours of instructional videos each week, and to submit several 10-minute zoom recordings related to the course material. The instructor will provide details of what will be provided in the homework assignments. The instructor will review all homework and give feedback. Because this is a Leadership Program designed to have graduates have a very high level of proficiency in Vibrational Astrology, excellent class attendance and very good performance on homework is essential. The homework assignments are essential in order to develop a high level of proficiency and confidence in applying the ideas.
Students also need to allow for an additional 3 hours of study so the total time commitment per week. The total time commitment per weeks when there are classes therefore is about 2 ½ hours for class, 6 hours for videos and 2 hours of homework for very roughly about 10 to 11 hours per week.
Important: Note that this is a Leadership Program and requirements are strict and standards are very high. This training program is the equivalent of receiving a MA degree at a highly respected university, and one does not receive a MA degree without devoting a great amount of time and effort.
Students who do not meet all of the requirements for a course fail the course and therefore cannot graduate after the 2-year program. If a student fails a course, the student, teacher and administrative staff will discuss the situation and decide if the student can continue to enroll in the rest of the courses in the Leadership program. The decision of the teachers and administration is final.
All tuition fees must be completely paid before each course concludes.
VIBRATIONAL ASTROLOGY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM SCHEDULE:
The entire schedule for all 10 courses will be established at the outset. There will be two new programs. One program is Wednesday evenings (Eastern Time) and the other one is 12 noon to 2 PM on Mondays (Eastern Time). You can select the program that fits your schedule the best. After 10 students have been accepted into a program, no additional students will be accepted into it. This document will be updated when one of the programs is full. The classes are once a week and meet on the same day of the week and same time for the entire program.
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION: Students who completed the 10 courses and passed will receive a “Certificate of Completion
FVA CERTIFICATION: Graduates are eligible to take the Vibrational Astrology Certification Exam administered by the Foundation for Vibrational Astrology.
